Yes, indeed, perhaps not as strong as that, but pretty much along those lines.

I think that when the history is written, it may very well reflect that Saddam's effort at resistance took place after the main military engagement was over, and that he was assisted by any number of collaborators who shared his interest in preventing democracy from being established anywhere in the ME. But that is strictly speculation on my part.
