Kerry might have been liberal when it came to taxes and SS, but he was a little to the right of center with his foreign policy. Plus, he might have used his election mandate to get us off oil dependence. What might have been? Frankly, I wonder less about what might have been and more about what will be. With Bush thinking he has a mandate and with the Dems. freaked out trying to figure out what happened to their base, I shudder to think of the direction this country is going. Its not looking good.
