JF, So you don't subscribe to the Gen X mantra that "we'll never see a dime"? Personally, I don't expect a single dime from Social Security. By the time I retire, we'll likely decide that having two workers support every one retiree is just too much. Of course, we won't come to that decision until we actually hit crisis mode. Then again, by the time my generation gets to retirement age, we'll probably vote for supporting ourselves over easing the burden of "GenY." Which, of course, would continue the cycle of government dependence, but I guess it depends on how well we GenXers exploit our 401k's and our IRAs. Tenchusatsu
