You clearly have bought into the entire "fight for the little guy" line. Any shorters exposing unethical companies are not doing it to help anyone but themselves. There is nothing wrong with that either. Good Due Diligence into overvalued companies should be worth a shorters time and effort.

But saying that the Shorter is helping anyone but themselves is wild and crazy self justification. A shorter sells the shares, and sell the shares before the LITTLE GUY can sell there own. To help the Little Guys they would not short the stock at all. Again nothing wrong with shorting, but its not some short of noble thing. Its investing.

The government is saying that Elgindy worked with FBI agents and communicated that out, in order to speed the decline of stocks. How does that help the little guy? Even if a stock is a bad investment, a bad investment that slowly goes down is much better for the LITTLE GUY, than is a stock that suddenly blows up.

I think your are a cute fool. But if you want to try to not be seen as a fool explain to me how Elgindy helped any Little Guys? By saying the stock was a "scam"? How does that help?
What Elgindy did was his own interest and his own investing. For those that he may of helped, he charged a monthy fee.

Where is the helping of the little guy? At best a shorter can do no harm.
