Production in Australia fell this year and is likely to fall even further. I can't see where the author has got the impression that it is rising. It isn't, so I assume he just didn't do his homework.....

Against this backdrop, we have a world population that is growing rapidly, with world money supplies growing even more rapidly. Ounces of gold per person in the world, and ounces of gold as a percentage of currency backing are already falling, even as global production starts to fall.
