I would NEVER wear Jungle Gardenia and I am a conservative! I picture someone like that big actress who sells cross your heart bras wearing it. Or someone with a leopard skin coat.

Ionesco and I seem to like similar perfumes, and of course she is a screaming liberal. She would explain this by reminding me that I am actually a closet liberal wearing a loose flimsy moderate robe. :)

I have always described the perfumes I like as smelling "green".
I hate Opium and things with names like Passion.

Ion and I had one of those "remember when" discussions about Evening In Paris a few weeks ago. I had an aunt who gave me a tiny bottle of it, and I thought it was the most glamorous thing I had ever owned, my ticket to sophistication and sex appeal. Since I was only ten, it didn't matter that the stuff was putrid and repelled bedbugs. Obviously my immuno-smell abilities were not developed yet.

Edit:I just found out Ion likes Opium, so maybe you are right after all
