Hi Grainne, I am only talking about the animals we use to raise.. And the kind my brother raises now... I have little to say about the moral issue for it is so large. Too large for me, but at least I think about it..But I have figured one thing out, but not much more.. That for ONE to LIVE, ANOTHER LIFE has to DIE. It is a ZERO sum game. Whatever kind of life, it might be.. So I can not, be able to put a priority on ANY life... Whether it is vegetable or animal, so I approach all with reverence. You know I have even have a problem pulling a "so-called" weed, as we know it, when it grows in my garden.. It is a weed in "our mind" but maybe not in the grand scheme of things.. I just don't know.. But one thing I do KNOW, We can not just GO ON WASTING life and OUR morality, in ANY form, with NO thought or authority.. That is just wrong, JUST WRONG, and eventually we will become overdrawn, if we continue to do so...... We will then overdraw, and therefore become morally bankrupt.. :( m
