Data Released December 23, 2004, for the Week Ending December 17, 2004

EIA's "net change" = - 123 BCF

Robry's estimate was = -116 BCF

Last year's injection for this past week = - 151 BCF
Prior week's injection (per EIA) = - 61 BCF

Storage Highlights:
Working gas in storage was 3,027 Bcf as of Friday, December 17, 2004, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 123 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 328 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 393 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,634 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 178 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 81 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 163 Bcf above the 5-year average of 729 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 38 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 52 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 4 Bcf. At 3,027 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
