"The truth is, we could not have won in Vietnam, and we cannot win now in Iraq. "

No cures, no wins. The only accomplishment one can have in this is to have stood up for liberty and justice in the face of brutal despotic tyranny and oppression. Nothing is over, nor will it be until with the fullness of time we check our outfit and get to see what sticks.

Who's side is God on? Well, obviously not the perpetrators of torture in Abu Graib prison. Obviously not the one's who target innocents with bombs of terror. But maybe those individuals on both sides who are taking a stand for justice and against dishonorable brutality. Nothing's over till I say it is ... and I will die before I get to say that.
