Instead of containment, I think we ae causing the infection to spread. Hell, we destroyed the city. There is nothing to go back to; no homes, no electricity, no water, none of the 250K population. Not to mention the civilians, women and children, we killed in cold blood. Imagine if that was the town where you lived. Would you be an "insurgent" if it was <insert city>, Washington? It's way past time to get the hell out of Iraq and let these folks decide their own fate. We're not helping these folks, we're prolonging their agony. John
