Hey! I hope you have a nice drive. You can change dinner and come home times. Christmas is nice but not to die for. You take care.

One more piece of advice: drive as though you have a raw egg strapped to the bottom of your right shoe.

Mashing the accelerator or brakes is about the worst thing you can do.

And give yourself plenty of distance between the car in front of you. It can take up to 3 car lengths to stop for every ten miles per hour when you are driving on snow and ice.

Seeing as how everyone is giving their great advice, and I have nothing to add as far as driving is concerned, but a just in case, throw in a few blankets, a couple of pillows and maybe some hot coffee.

You take care! We're staying home. I've stocked up on everything I can think of so no one has to go out in this bad weather. The pool's freeze protection came on at 6:05 this evening. It's set for 36 degrees. We got the pipes wrapped and are all set. I think we might even get some use out of that fireplace!!

Have a very Merry Christmas!
