I think it's pretty clear Rumsfeld and friends painted too rosy a picture to sell this war to the American public. That still doesn't change the fact that we can't give up now. To quit now is worse than forging ahead. Nope. There are times when quitting is the best way to go. This is one of those times. The hawks are blinded by their obsession with this war. They can no longer see clearly nor reasonably. I refuse to keep watching guys come home missing a leg or an arm or in a casket because we want an alternative to Saudi oil and bases. Its a enough! There are times when people do stupid things. It usually implicates only themselves and maybe a few others. In this case, a man has done a foolish thing and implicated a nation. Too many people are getting hurt over his nightmare. It must stop!
