Those surgeons make a rich living out of those $500,000+ bill. You can't blame them<G>

Yesterday I read from a forum in Canada, a Chinese immigrant has some symptom suspicious of colon cancer, so he went to the Canadian doctor and asked for a colonoscopy or something like that. The doctor scheduled him in next May! He said, even if it is cancer, that would be too late, which is really true. If I were him, I would buy a ticket right away, and go back to China to have the exam.

It amazes me that how come a rich country like Canada provides worse hospital service than a much bigger but poor country like China? And don't tell me that this is just one atypical example, I have heard too many of this type of experience that to make me believe it is pretty typical in Canada.
