I understand he does and respect it. It's not about "these people" its about 1 person. 1 person does not represent the entire Hmong population anymore than 1 person represents the white or black population. I'll respect your wishes but I'd have a whole lot more respect for your request if you were to say "don't let it take over the thread." The reason I say this is twofold. First of all its a major story for a few of us on this board and its news worthy. Secondly, I would think and expect that UW and anyone else could set aside their emotions and logically hear all the details and come to a rational consensus when all the information is out. If you're telling me you're going to ban should I raise the topic I wont do it but I don't respect your decision either. We're all or mostly all conservative adults and I'd like to believe regardless of topic we can have a rational discussion without threatening to ban a person or topic in total. Maybe my opinion means nothing to you but any logical, reasonable person will read this and know I'm right It's your thread You make the call Just make a call worthy of respect - thats all I ask
