I think Indy will win but my thinking is that SD's defense will keep it close.

Maybe this will help. Remember, this is coming from a guy with only 9 points.

CHARGERS AT COLTS

Time: Noon.

Records: Chargers 11-3; Colts 11-3.

Line: Colts by 7.

Trends: The Chargers are 11-1-2 ATS this season, including 6-0-1 on the road. They also are 19-6 ATS in their last 25 games indoors.

Outlook: Both teams have won their division, but the winner will have the edge in playoff seeding. Peyton Manning was a good bet to lead the AFC in passer rating (123.9), but who would have thought Drew Brees would be second (103.8)? Manning figures to break the single-season record for TD passes here, but not without a fight. The Chargers might rank 26th in pass defense, but that's mainly because no one can run on them (No. 2).

Pick: Colts 31, Chargers 27.
