Gloop you are right about Favre. But he has to continually overcome bad coaching and a bad defense. It is too much for one man. Here was Sherman's big mistake this game and it almost cost us.

First quarter challenge of the Favre fumble. I did not see it, but the guys on the radio said the replay was clear, it was a fumble. But he challenges anyway. Costs us a time out and one challenge. We sure could have used the time out during the last drive of the first half. Arguably cost us. Favre however was bright enough to call for a measurement to give the field goal team time to get on the field. Favre overcomes first result of Sherman's crappy decision.

Second half, Vikings punt and we get it on the 1 1/2 yard line. Clearly in the reply it was a touchback, or at least arguably. If we would have had a challenge at that point we could have used it. But no, it was already used up on a stupid challenge. If we had a challenge there and the ball was spotted at the 20 instead of the 1 1/2, Favres interception probably does not become a touchdown. Could have cost us the game there.

How on earth can one man beat crappy coaching decisions and a bad defense time and again.

Clearly, he is God and Sherman must go.

Time for a good GM and a new coach.
