I can't tell (for sure although I have my suspicions) whether we're seeing the last gasp of the fascist fundamentalist radical fringe or the complacency of post WWII Europe. Conservative Republicans (along with centrist republicans and the otherwise politically confused) are pushing back against the radical deficit inducing policies of Shrubbery. They're even pushing back against Rummy although that may be simply to inoculate Shrubbery against Iraq's current disaster. Hey! US meddles and meddles and meddles in a sovereign country's election. Yep, that would be IRAQ, our 51st state and currently the bottomless pit for US Taxpayer resources. Shrubbery et al are now proposing to guarantee Sunni positions in the government regardless of how the vote comes out. LOL. That's a flat out admission of utterly incompetence and failure in Iraq. This is what happens when idiots and incompetents such as Rummy, Shrubbery, Rice, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Bremmer et al get positions of power. It's enough to make one lose all faith in politicians. :)
