Ooh Rahh! Kill them all and let their god sort them out. This is one of many disturbing comments (in this case from someone who identifies himself as a Marine named Clay) This is irresponsible. While it may be true that the person presented as "Clay" is actually a Marine, the writer has no way of knowing this, yet he facilely promotes the impression that it is true. It would not be difficult to take the other side of this "argument" by citing a similarly rabid outburst from some anonymous person who claims to be a member of whatever organization one might want to besmirch -- say, the ACLU. You know this, of course, and normally I wouldn't react to something like this, but yesterday I spent more than a few hours looking up stories of the sacrifices being made by americans and Iraqis in Iraq, the ones who are fighting and dying alongside each other to bring about a new, more hopeful, democratic Iraq, and it just rubs me the wrong way today to see anyone putting down these heroes, however obliquely. ig
