Once again you try to equate Israeli interests with U.S. interests.

That has been Israel's goal all along, to put us in the same boat. Now the two of us are in that little dinghy and the rest of the world is spitting in our direction.

Thanks a lot, with friends like you who needs enemies.

Ruff,

ordinarily, I agree with most of what you post, and I am 100% behind you on the "fathers bad rap" as the comments from the other poster that all fathers are abusive is moronic,

however, the staement that Israel NEEDS peace to survive sort of belies the fact that the Israeli economy is thriving and the stock market there strong at at its all time highs.

What Israel needs is a sane policy from its neighbors that does not require hate, bigotry and propaganda, in order to keep the yoke firmly on its own people.

Unless and until real reforms are made in the outlying region, this is all just one continuation of whatever WAR we want to point to as the starting point:

this is also why in my humble opinion, the BUSH doctrine is the real answer to the problems in the ME.

only free people will police themselves of and rid themselves of terrorists in their midst.

only a free populace, with a lot on the line, would be willing to fight terror and arrest hatemongers.

I had dinner with a couple from France last night, who have lived there since their 1956 expulsion from Egypt, and they are preparing to leave their country, because they fear that the Muslims have outnumbered the countries ability to survive them.

RIP France, with Germany and England, not far behind them.
