I have said on several occasions why an avian flu pandemic is relevant to a Biotech Valuation thread (and more relevant that posts from 2001 about conservation). Biotech Valuation usually has some relationship to underlying technology or intellectual property which go beyond generalized rants from 2001 (or any other time period).
