Vendit

Well, it wasn't my intent to run you off <g>...

It's a free board. You can post whatever you'd like I guess.

A lot of people [like me] just don't buy the legitimacy of TA. A lot do, too. I do think it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy at times. In my experience, TA is wrong as often as it is right.

Of course, as you indicated, if one uses FA for their investments, you're going to do well over time regardless.

Congrats on your call. It's easy to look back after the move and say that everyone knew it would pop. You posted some nice charts and it did as you said.

In case you haven't figured, there is an XMSR tout here who is in love with his apparently 1 holding. He feels his mission is to counter anything remotely positive with respect to SIRI, all the while proclaiming the XMSR is a buy. He's been dead wrong, yes dead wrong, on SIRI ever since Stern announced. He was posting that SIRI would go to 3.60 at that point. Unfortunately, anyone who listened to him lost some great trading opportunities.

He fails to understand that both companies are not trading as value plays and both are going on sentiment. Consequently, it is understandable that TA may be a good indicator of moves.

Interesting that XMSR is dead in the water today despite their "meeee toooo" pr while SIRI was a great trading move.

Thanks for your input and look forward to more from you.

Meant to post here: Thanks for your input. I used your analysis to sell my cost basis in SIRI & am letting the rest run. Because of you & others this trade has been very profitable to say the least. Is it a MO play, sure, so what. Forget David, people like him, rather than be objective, spoiled Raging Bull.

I enjoy your posts & have shifted to where you post regularly. Thank you for that link.

Henry

Vendit,

You would be welcomed on the SIRI Raging Bull Board. David Ray, aka Frontmed, will not post there ever again. He made a wager that SIRI would not hit 800k subscribers and if Sirius did hit 800k he would leave Raging Bull. He did make a final post that was classless as he said good-bye. The posters on Raging Bull just laugh at him.
