Yiwu, check out skype.com 45 million downloads and typically 1 million subscribers on-line at any one time. That's voip, but with no charges, and better quality than any other voice service including normal landline services [provided you have good equipment, fast links and no feedback from your microphone].

Skype cuts out the avaricious telecom greedies, which is not going to make them happy.
