re: Well, the statement above without support is nothing more than an unsupported cheap shot. Help us with a little more detail if you please.

If he gets into detail, he loses the debate. The Iraq war is a disaster on all levels, and it doesn't matter if you are a Republican or Democrat, a liberal or a conservative.

Combelly, Dante and John,

Sure my mail was intended to be nothing but a "cheap shot".
As for check lists for what makes somebody a liberal (or in your case a "conservative") that is hardly a privilege of us conservatives. Add to that your precious tabs on attributes by which you may let the nicer guys of that other camp check in as "neo-conservatives" and thus almost tolerable. The guys who may with time and insight and help (from "us who know the Truth") get their screwed up heads put back on right...

What's more, the need for such ridiculous prefixes as "neo-" used to make us more palatable to the oh-so-tolerant liberals pretty much speaks for itself.
But on the other hand, if it enhances a dialogue between the parties, I guess it fills a purpose.

Having said that I noticed that only liberals and neos belong to that self pronounced exclusive club of "Nation Builders". Would it thus be preposterous to assume that this nation was built by liberals and other members of same club only?

No, let's call it conservative. Liberals believe in nation building, neo-conservatives believe in nation building, conservatives do not.

I love the way some here have this check list of conservative values, if someone deviates from even one, they get a label of "liberal" and that brings along a whole long list of attributes that, even if they don't fit, the other is assumed to have..
