AAPL is setting up nicely. They are getting oversold now, but there is a bearish divergence between technicals and price:

I think AAPL will correct more, and that may present an excellent (and rare) buying opportunity. This one should be watched closely for further correction followed by reversal before earnings (Jan 12). Best case scenario would be a correction, then sideways move going into earnings. Then, if they beat the street again, the subsequent move will be powerful and sustained.

Hi Reid,

For what it's worth, HYPD does report to the SEC:

finance.yahoo.com

Insiders hold most of the float. There is no institutional ownership, as I am sure you figured.

Some outfit called DJX Ltd. holds about 800,000 shares. Outside of that, there is no significant outside ownership reported:

finance.yahoo.com

DJX Ltd. is a Belize corporation, but it is wholly owned by relatives of the CEO and his brother (who is a consultant to HYPD). It seems to be some sort of offshore "trust" set up for the benefit of the kids.

I agree with you: the volume in HYPD is very small. That said, they have been in a narrow sideways trading range now for a few months, and there was a head-fake breakout attempt about 2 weeks ago. HYPD is getting into oversold territory now also.

Personally, I don't think I would consider trading HYPD unless the stock broke out of that range with a strong volume surge.
