If he needs an owner to write a letter to his players saying he will still be head coach next year in order to feel he can maintain his authority then he is anything but a head coach. You can't force players to respect someone which is what is obviously trying to happen here. His comments to the press about Chandler were extremely unprofessional and something I've never before seen a head coach do. But this guy does it constantly. Nothing is his fault. I maintain again that team does what it does in spite of him.
