Corruption is a gross understatement for what these people are doing" Compare this to how Poor Joe is treated. Poor Joe makes $7/hour but if his CEO screws up, Poor Joe gets layed off and has to use up his savings to survive. Meanwhile, CEO walks away with a few million for screwing up. Poor Joe is certainly accountable for the CEO's errors, but the CEO is not accountable for his or her errors. It's a two tiered system in our country. If you read the newest release of the cia factbook, they officially state for the first time the USA is now becoming two tiered. Ironically though, the CIA blames it on Poor Joe for not getting computer skills, rather than blaming a corrupt system that rewards rich people. RE: "and doing while many are out of work or dying on battlefields" The system is rigged for the rich, not Middle Class Joe. RE: "Each time I hear it it is unbelievable to me.....I don't know why after seeing so much of it." Am surprised we haven't seen a 60s type of revolution due to the corruption. It's amazing how the system refuses to correct itself. Equally amazing how sheep-like people are. But corruption has strong momentum. Our govt and system is corrupt. And it always will be there, growing stronger, due to its powerful momentum. The system isn't cleaning itself out and it will continue to be a two tier system until the govt acknowledges the true problem and decides to clean it up. Hopefully, the imbalanced system doesn't result in a revolution. The Gen Y seem to be rather compliant but the generation after them don't appear to be too happy about the situation. To quote my nephew who teaches school, "students are very anger." Angrier than the 60s? Regards, Amy J
