A thought on the Asian situation.....the death toll is now 44k and I think it could go much higher. This is a global problem in a way because of the disease that could result and be flown around the globe. So... If everyone in the US and Canada would just give 1 dollar we could send them 300 million. If everyone gave 10 dollars we could send them 3 billion dollars. I'm no tree hugger but this isn't about tree huggers - it's about people! We all need to look around, take note of what we have and then open the checkbook. The biggest problem will be finding an agency that wont take the opportunity to steal money like the UN did in oil for food
