Seems like he takes advantage of those willing to fulfill his need for attention. And succeeds. JMHO. ...takes advantage of the fact people have much better things to do with their lives than serve his need for attention.

A "former boxer", Gary Dobry, learned this the hard way when he posted pseudonymous messages on a stock bulletin board accusing a business executive of questionable stock transactions and dealing with "known felons." The executive filed a "John Doe" suit that allowed him to issue subpoenas to get Dobry's actual identity, and then sued him for spreading "false and defamatory information" about him. Although Dobry claimed that he had gotten his information from a fellow Internet poster whom he "mistakenly believed was trustworthy," he was the one who paid the price: a public apology, and a settlement that will make him immediately liable for $1 million in damages if he ever posts another word about the executive or his business. net4tv.com Zwebner and Dobry - a perfect match.

Jeff, 1) The only one's bringing Pugs up are you, Bill and scionist. 2) As for lying, Pug's wasn't debunked in Emswhillers's book for being a liar, you were. 3) The topic we were discussing here before you made this into another Pugs free-for-all was Elgindy. You weren't happy with us just being banished from Tony's board, you needed to control the flow of information on this board too. Why? SI has a board already created to disparage Pugs, why do you have to bring it here as well? Why can't you simply disparage Pugs on the SI board devoted to disparaging him and let us discuss Elgindy's trial? Anyone fed up with the Dobry related material should understand the following: 1. Dobry is a pathological liar. 2. He has stalked those that have shut down the scam companies he promoted for the past seven years, even to the point of driving by their homes. He's even gone after SI Bob. 3. He comes from the "if you say it long and loud enough it will make it true" school, and takes advantage of the fact people have much better things to do with their lives than serve his need for attention. 4. Since you can't have a rational discussion with an irrational person, all one can do is serve up proof-positive of past lies and hope people are smart enough to see through him, or at least ignore him. In case it matters to anyone, I've pretty much said all I can say about Dobry. If anyone chooses to give him credibility (whether it's what he writes about me, Elgindy, whatever), then buyer beware. I will now place him on my figurative ignore list. - Jeff
