I assume that's a hypothetical... since I have no idea whether or not the US actually shot down that flight.... But --- assuming for the purpose of argument that they did --- then my answer is clear: HELL YES! I want honesty from my government, not lies and cover-ups. Then vote Democratic. Say, like LBJ, who pulled off the Tonkin Bay fraud. Or Carter, who first said he would NEVER use military action against the Iranians, then did just that. Or Clinton, who "DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN!" (IMO, the public would have been quite prepared to accept military actions against a plane aimed at the heart of Washington.) What the public WON'T accept is lies and cover-ups. You toodle right back to your dream world. Out here in reality it don't work like that.
