Yes, ideas that can be tested. I'm sure agriculture (our first scientific invention) would not have become as developed as it has if we simply focused on better ways to worship the God or Goddess of the Harvest. It was only through repeated experimentation and passing on these testable IDEAS (aka "science") that we manage to feed the vast myriad of humanity. I'm not sure emphasizing worship will extract us from our current crises either because worship and devotion by itself has a poor track record. But, after spending all day working on our problems in a scientific and exacting way, there is nothing wrong with directing a prayer to one's preferred deity.
