Surely you aren't saying that is the only difference between the groups of people.... Not even close. I wasn't talking about abortion at all. My argument was about creationism in schools and about who is in a position to establish boundaries. If you want to apply the principle to the abortion issue, I suggest that the Dems should discourage those who advocate tolerance of abortion as a birth control method. And the Republicans should discourage those who would give rights of citizenship to embryos. The Republicans can't influence the former and the Democrats can't influence the latter.
