yea, you're as balanced as me in in many similar and different ways.
But I'm not looking for a ditto-head to concur.
Nor do I think you are.

SOROS, Thanks for all your support, you have returned dignity and open-mindedness to this thread.
I hope many of the more intelligent posters return.

Again, I would seriously take the tack of Isopatch and his NR thread; make strick rules against personal assaults and rabblerousing.

Tim

Ok

If you're going to be balanced then might I suggest you ban the following

Duray - He calls people names all the time. He talks down to people as if they were total fools. Only he has the answers - just ask him - he'll tell ya!

Redfish - the guy called me a POS the other day except he spelled it out. When I pulled up the post my 6 year old (who can read) said "daddy...what does Sh!t mean?" That was on Dec 24th....Nice Christmas present eh?

It seems to me Jim Willy calls people names as well.

The point being if you're going to ban anyone who calls another person a name this thread is going to be pretty thin. While I agree with much of what you posted with regard to political beliefs I just don't think bans are productive. I would ask that you lift them or ban many more people that clearly do the exact same thing. This thread has flourished because of lack of bans. Why mess with it?

I remain Gloop,

And Gloop ate so much chocolate and was so fat he could kick the hell out of Soros any day of the week LOL!!

Here the rub

And I think this is fair!

If the rules are changing thats fine. But lift the bans alert EVERYONE to the new rules and then let the chips fall where they may

Sound fair?

I think it does

LAST TIME---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the criteria. Those who do nothing except carry on conversations and arguments that contain no real or useful information for anyone except the two carrying on the conversation or argument will be dismissed. The thread used to contain useful posts, but it has turned into nothing but arguments between political party followers, and one has to search through this mess to find posts with content. Stockman_scott and I do not agree on a lot of things, but his posts are useful to more people than just himself. JW posts useful information, although he does sometimes go overboard when irritated, and he gets irritated when you posts slams with nothing to back it up except name calling. Anyone who cannot see the difference between these posts and 99% of those by fresc, longnshort, jlallen, etc. will have to agree to disagree with me.

Gloop, crdesign, Wharf Rat -- seem to be dominating the thread with personal conversations many times. Post useful stuff or take the 2-way stuff elsewhere please. If your reply to someone has no benefit for anyone except one person, then use a PM. The occasional "thank you" or "congratulations" is, of course, okay.

I remain,

SOROS
