Federal Reserve does not work in the best interest of minions. There is an abundance of proof of this.

Two most important things every individual likes to have are higher wages and lower prices of commodities. Thus commodity price deflation should be construed to be a great thing, but the Fed is worried because with deflation setting in values of holdings (mostly financial) of the ultra rich will sink.
