In Moore's film he also demonstrated how Canadians do not lock
their doors. He walked down the block and was able to walk
into each house he tried.

Is it like that where you are too?

My grandfather was born and raised in Quebec until his folks
moved to Maine. He often talked about ice skating all the way
to school each day.

I suppose he's the reason why I seem to like winter sports and
don't mind the cold all that much.

Perhaps this summer I'll have to take the family on a vacation
up into Canada.

Montreal was nice. I was there once in summer time. Nice
city. It felt like I was in Europe. That is about the extent
of my Canadian travels.
