Red Cross (Lest We Forget)

After the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11 at 5pm that evening the head of the Red Cross decided to visit the site only to find the Red Cross had not responded. She then decided the Red Cross needed to be revamped but had to resign months later due to those at the Red Cross that wanted to keep the status quo.

I have a friend whose sister worked at the Red Cross in a minor position. She had nothing good to say about the organization nor those who run it. In her opinion it was more about providing a nice living for the administrators than about providing help.
