But this is a change from the policy of the thread and thus fair warning should be given. Actually, over the past few months, I can remember reading posts by Soros giving a number of warnings to people to tone it down as the purpose of the thread was being ruined by certain posters. Of course, nobody bothered to listen. I stopped reading the thread for quite awhile, but then stuck a bunch of the more annoying people on ignore so that I could read the "newsworthy" kinds of posts made by SS and a few others as I usually don't have time to look around all over the net for this kind of stuff. I suppose the only thing I wonder is why more people don't just stick the more obnoxious posters on ignore and resist the urge to bother reading posts written "to" them. After awhile, you come to know which people are just the same-old-same-old trash-mouths, and you realize they don't write anything that you would want to be wasting your time reading anyhow, so better to just ignore their existence. If people would learn to do that and stick to their convictions, there would be no need for moderated threads anywhere on S.I. ~croc
