Hey Smithee,

We find common ground!

I'm not much of a wagering type. But I do wish you and your candidate the best of luck. Let's hope they run a clean campaign on the issues and keep the mud out of it. I noticed that the republican challenger to Murray in the last election was trying to paint her as a buddy of bin Laden. That didn't fly with the voters.

I'm sure that we will still have the issue of Iraq to deal with. When the Sunni's start saying that they're going to boycott the election in January, we have problems. Seems that they would rather fight then be dictated to by the Shia. No matter how many voices were raised regarding the huge potential for civil war in Iraq, the Bush administration forged through with their plan to get the WMD, or the WMD programs, or the OIL, or pay for the war with the OIL, or just plain export democracy into one of the most violent and divided cultures in the world. It makes about as much sense as trying to give a constipated tiger an enema with syringe.

Hey Smithee...I forgot to return a wish of happy holidays to you before...so let me wish you all the best.

Orca

According to thread rules I just made up (a la SOROS on stockman_scott's), you are now up the creek without a paddle for agreeing with him rather than me.
