Bill - Thanks for responding. I'm curious about that one because I followed RPHL for awhile. Didn't like it then, bought at .15, sold at .22, but taking a look at it now that it has done the inevitable crash that I thought would happen.

I try to avoid micros that pay for write-ups. However, I also recognize that there are variants of the theme and nobody expects anything for nothing.

There are outright touts that basically copy paragraphs of filings and get a very large monthly fee to put them on a board and then do the email and message board spam. I try to avoid these, but they could be arguably similar to what you describe as Jeff's business?? I've started adding what I think are the worst to my browser so that I can check to see if my own stock picks have paid touts.

I also see other websites, often sort of amateur, that get a small fee, often one time, just to list the stock on a website and don't seem to do any spamming, perhaps just some PR or an occasional post. To me, a small fee with no major stock payment would not necessarily scare me away.

Again, don't take this as if I'm taking a side, just trying to educate myself in this area.

I see Truthseeker posting a lot of stuff that I find useful about paid sites but some seem "less worse" than others perhaps.

So bottom line - would you say that Investrend was paid to say "this is a strong buy?" although I didn't see that in the rather confusing article. That would be contrasted with Jeff's business as being paid or not being paid (???) to just list the stock and some info from filings? Did Jeff also send emails? Did he spam any message boards with these listings?

Q for truthseeker - as it appears that investrend now doesn't like RPHL, would you now think that perhaps that's a good sign for RPHL? That's half in jest. RPHL still looks very marginal to me, but I'm going to check it out.
