From personal experience .....I tried NFLX and cancelled.......1 out of 4 dvd's arrived broken..........didn't really fit my lifestyle either.

The biggest problems included the barrier to entry(in $$$$$$)and the technology for distribution was always so easy for BlockBuster, Walmart and a host of other companies to overcome. It was a matter of time for the more well known brands to come in and take their business after it's model was proven effective.

Also, the lines are continuing to blurr between "Brick and Morter" companies and "internet" companies.........the brand still carries alot of weight with consumers.....including as an internet supplier.

Seems to be more of a problem for the book sellers to overcome AMZN etc.

I was fortunate enough to have had a strangle n NFLX during the last earnings period. $18 to $10 overnight.

Be well,

Mike
