I tend to agree. Gold is getting boring for me. No doubt about it. Moly is starting to get attention. AUA could stay rangebound until its 43-101 approval in Feb OR it could explode anytime. I wish I knew.

I asked Claude about it but he said he doesn't follow AUA. This may or may not be an error, mind you he is allowed.

<Packing a fairly large miner position that's going to get trimmed here shortly by falling price action and the proceeds move of those vehicles less precious and more base...>

I hear yeah, jimsoi. I'm currently diversifying a little more into energy. But my perception and gut feeling is that unless gold breaks down below $400, some of these junior miners (developers and explorers) will not move much lower in price since they are already 30%-60% below their 52 wk highs and some below their NAVs (e.g. EPM). I also feel that shareholders of these companies are hardened and recognize their value with 400+ gold (unless one is just a glutton for punishment). Furthermore, many of these juniors are in the midst of aggressive drilling campaigns, feasability studies, etc.. which might do well for their stock price in this environment.

Sometimes I think that gold investors/bugs are too isolated
in their foresightedness and may get discouraged and jump ship just as the masses finally start to see the light. But then again, we could always jump back on.
