An interesting contradiction in the market now.

As Brian Reynolds points out share buybacks (often from the proceeds of debt sales) are surging.

But insider selling is surging as well.

Another mechanism by which the elite is using cheap money to further enrich itself?

Nonsense, and judging from the heavy handed presence of the Fed "lending" (if not monetizing) in these auctions, hardly light either. Dealers were stuck with these OMCs, but the good news for them is that the custodials or Fed will take them off their hands. :
