Why no grandstanding in court to defend themselves? They were sued for alleged trademark violations, fraud and breach of contract as well as defamation and conspiracy. The Phonies who posture settled out of court! Business Wire received a favorable out-of-court settlement in its federal lawsuit against them. lmao that is funny!

The Webnode Web site, webnode.com , currently carries the original release and a retraction but also details its dealings with BusinessWire and baits the company with repeated uses of its name, highlighted in red in case users miss it.

"We also agree to cease, desist, and refrain from using either the word Business or Wire in any further Webnode press releases, as in No-Sense-Of-Humour-Wire, No-Monkey-Business Wire, or even Business Turd, as these may still cause the misconception that we meant Business Wire," reads part of the site.
