At the juncture I would say that the death toll will exceed 150.000 as looking at pictures today of Sri Lanka alone one entire city was wiped out. The population there was 40.000 alone. All the numbers are still not in. This will most probably go down in history as the worst disaster ever recorded as NOW that it has occurred steps will probably be put into place to ever allow it to reoccur... Hopefully.

Your calculator seems to be broken. More importantly, that $35 million is just the start. It's what the administration could allocate immediately, without congressional action. Congress is putting together an aide package right now that could dwarf what any other country has promised. But let's not spoil your Bush-hater rant with facts. "9/11 looks like an insignificant blip on the world radar screen compared to what these people have suffered, are suffering and will suffer." Only a complete moron and insensitive ass would call the deliberate taking of 3000 innocent lives "an insignificant blip" because many more lives were lost to a NATURAL DISASTER.
