I'm totally for real. We have been covering their butts since WWII. That was a net coast to us even if it did serve our best interests.

I don't care what the initial gift to GDP is....what matters is the end tally. We'll top that list between our people, government, charities and corporations. It all must be added to measure the true citizenship and giving nature of this country and it will dwarf France or anyone else you can list in the end. Lets not waste time arguing about the initial downstroke - lets look at the end tally. Then come and talk to me about how cheap we are compared to others.

You also have to take into account, all of our C130s, ships, soldiers and sailors who help in the relief. That costs money, lots of it. Is France supply airbuses to fly in supplies? The US will use many, many more things in the relief that cost money, ie satellite time
