I don't usually like horror- but I've come to depend on it as a tool to teach suspense and rising action, climax and anticlimax. It's also a good tool for explaining static and dynamic characters. Using horror movies as a teaching tool has made me a little fonder of them.

Very few genre connect with teenagers the way horror does.

Hey Sidney!! Hello!! Did you by any chance see Sideways? I think it might be my favorite movie of the year. It came out recently and was nominated for a whole bunch of Golden Globes, so it is still in some theatres.
