<Since it is becoming painfully obvious that US capitalism isn't working>

Huh? It's been working extremely well as far as I'm concerned. What's not working?

<I've got one painful word for you....... Globalstar. >

Ray, when I wrote the previous post, I thought of Globalstar and wondered whether you would mistakenly pick it up as a handy touchstone for your wonky theory, thinking ahead another move ... bingo!

Globalstar was part of USA capitalism, which punishes those who get things wrong. I can't go back to the taxpayer well for more money to back up my stupid decision to hand mine over to the marketing miscreants of Globalstar.

Capitalism is merciless like that. Those who are unfit to do the investing are deprived of their ability to do it. The money goes to people who are better at it.

Neither is Globalstar a painful word for me. Philanthropic investing involves high-risk enterprise. Globalstar now exists and will develop. Many is the pioneer who dies in the challenge. Others go on, using the leftovers, to succeed, in all sorts of fields.

Globalstar was, and still is, a LOT of fun. I am still dabbling away, trying to make it work. It's the best global communication system on Earth. One day, you too will use it. Check out the coverage: globalstar.com
