In my hurry to write last night, I didn't mean to equate the change in gov't with people being fed up with corruption. Rather, the fact that people have shown they are willing to vote people out and change a government which had virtual one-party status since Gandhi is a shot across the barrel for anybody who wishes to pursue policies that do not help move the country move forward on a number of fronts (including corruption).

Once again, all this not possible in China by defintion.

I thought the arrest of the eBay guy was pandering to the right more than a shakedown, yes?

As for all that is "vanishing," as Indian industry matures, the corruption will become less obvious, like it is here.
