i don't play pétanque, but for your information France must have proud to have Pieds-Noirs back in France, the brought to a defeated country sense of joy, achievement, and prosperity. Gus, What France would be without them? Back to the Jewish State, there were Jews in Iraq long before there were Arabs. Under the Ottoman Empire the Jewish Community adminstered the country, handled the banking, commerce, and made Iraq a prosperous country. What use is it to you all this. I am sure you have news paper article in your pocket (this is your style!) that will prove me wrong. GG
