It used to be that we had these options:

1. To ignore posts From a user,
2. To ignore posts To a user,
3. To ignore private posts From a user.

Now, looking at the Ignore feature, it seems they've stripped it down. Oh well.

I know what you mean about missing out on posts from someone you want to read. It's irksome when one of my favorite posters replies to someone I've got on ignore, because:

1. I have to do extra clicking for just that one post in order to read it (and even THAT doesn't seem to be working correctly since they activated batch-ignore), and

2. What's the big idea of posting to someone I'm ignoring, anyway! *g*

Generally, though, the posters I follow seldom post to the ones I ignore, so using the Ignore function, even the current stripped-down version, saves clicks and scrolls -- and time.

Well, they've fixed something. It works now (once again) to simply click on "Ignored Message" in order to read it. Not too bad.

I would like the ability to ignore posts from one poster to another but not all their other posts. That way you could put certain flame wars on ignore without ignoring the rests of the posts by the user's involved.
