Most of the contributions that American's pass off as charity are used to finance religious institutions and "ministry" work.

"Pass off"? Wow, so nothing is charitible unless it's secular. Nice.

That's not true. I know my company doesn't give to religiously affiliated charities. Corporate gifts, matching, and U.S. citizens give money to a wide range of charities, religious and non-religious. Even if some of it makes its way to ministry, Tigerpaw, what's wrong with that, as long as it's peaceful?

Alot of the money Muslims give to charities ends up financing terrorist networks, building madrasahs, and mosques where they can preach more violence and hatred.
